What is Nursing Club about?
The Nursing Club at UC Davis strives to build a social and professional pathway for those interested in pursuing nursing beyond UC Davis’ education. Our purpose is to provide members with an opportunity to explore the different pathways to nursing since UC Davis does not offer an undergraduate nursing program. We intend to educate by presenting information on different nursing degrees and careers, organizing volunteering events, and inviting guest speakers from prestigious schools.

How do I become a paid member?
Membership fee for the entire school year is only $15 and can paid through our Nursing Club Venmo. More information can be found in our Membership/Merch page.
What's included in the paid membership? What happens if I'm not a paid member?
Our membership includes access to our google drive, priority sign up for volunteering opportunities, and a '22-'23 T-shirt! Our paid members only google drive provides all of our meeting notes and presentations along with many class resources.

If you are not a paid member, you are still more than welcome to join our meetings! However, you will not have access to our member google drive, priority registration, meeting notes and presentations, and club t-shirt.
What is active membership?
You can become an active member by attending a specific amount of Nursing Club events! By showing up to at least 1 guest speaker presentations, 1 social, and 1 additional meeting, you will be recognized for your active participation and dedication in the club. Participation in fundraisers and volunteer events are optional, but attendance grants points towards your family. All active members will be recognized at our end of the year banquet and will receive a special gift! This is also great for resume padding and you will receive a discount for our stole! Make sure to check out our calendar for our meeting dates!
What type of meetings/events should I expect?
Our meetings during Fall Quarter will be both in-person on through Zoom. Check out our social media pages or sign up for our newsletter to stay updated on where meetings will be held! Our meetings consists of guest speakers from prestigious nursing programs, club socials, board presentations, and more! If there is any specific school or topic you would like to learn about, feel free to contact us. We appreciate any feedback!
What if I can't make it during the meeting times?
Don't worry! If you paid for membership, all of our meeting notes and guest speaker presentation notes will be shared in the member's google drive! Zoom recordings of guest speaker presentations are variable and are subject to their privacy.
