If you're looking for a long term volunteering opportunity, Communicare Health Centers is looking for Patient Screener Volunteers to help them aid in the COVID-19 Response. Site locations include the Davis Community Clinic near Sutter Health Hospital and Salud Clinic in West Sacramento. How to sign-up:​

1. Go to their website and submit a volunteer application. (This creates your volunteer profile that can be accessed at myimpactpage.com)​​​​

2. Upload a picture identification (Driver's license, student ID, State issued ID card) (To section (I) About you in the ADDITIONAL INFO tab of the MYPROFILE dropdown menu)

3. Upload a signed position description (To section (III) Details in the ADDITIONAL INFO tab of the MYPROFILE dropdown menu on your volunteer profile

4. Upload Immunization records (TB Results- within last 12 months, MMR, Hep , Varicella, COVID-19, and flu shot- during flu season Nov 1-March 31.

5. Complete required trainings which can be accessed in the TRAINING tab (COVID Vaccine training, Patient Screener Training, Harassment Training)

6. Complete the limited-term volunteer agreements (Can also be accessed from the TRAINING tab)- Includes the Volunteer Agreement, Volunteer Dress Code, Non-Coercion Agreement, HIPAA Confidentiality Agreement, Oath of Confidentiality, and Media Release.

7. Upload a signed release and waver of liability (To the Authorization and Release section in the ADDITIONAL INFO tab)

8. Attend a virtual volunteer orientation (Sign up for an orientation in the OPPORTUNITIES tab of your volunteer profile)
